AuburnMedia has joined the community of podcasters. OK, we haven’t done one yet, but they are on the way. You can blame Shel and Neville (also Jeremy Pepper) for all of this. An explanation is here.

The name is a play on a site two of my students started – Intern Quest. Job Quest was taken, so we have PR Quest.

PR Quest podcasts will be interviews with active public relations / marcom practitioners.

The interviews will be similar to those undertaken in a shadow interview. Not looking for any controversy here. Don’t look for tough ambush interviews. However, we do want depth. The quest is to gain kindly mentoring advice for my students.

Right now, I’m actively seeking subjects for the interviews. I hope to start posting podcasts next week. Trying to be realistic, I’ll shoot for one per week. If I can get more, then all the better. But two per week is probably all I can manage.

The interviews will likely be only :30 minutes. If you have suggestions for possible interview subjects, please nominate them here, too.
