This is not a pile-on aimed at Typepad and Six Apart. You may think it is, but that is not my intention. However, this most recent incident with their customer service failures offers an excellent opportunity to discuss the use of social media in crisis communication.

You know, I waited and waited to install the latest version of Firefox – version 1.5. Why? Because I initially installed the beta version and it caused oh, so many problems. So, I uninstalled the beta and re-installed the previous 1.x version.
