China :: Social Media :: Who Do You Call

11 December 2006 1 views No Comment

Watching the development of Michael Darragh’s blog – the Navigator – has been a treat. Reading his posts is an education.

…China is simply the largest market and largest consumer group with shared culture so they are fascinating to watch…

Michael Darragh. That’s who I would call.

Some of Michael’s latest offerings? Check out “little fatty” is a big net star or news of a recent anshe chung interview – “Second Life millionaire Anshe Chung is interviewed at smh.com.au.” Others? Forget about the old VHS vs. Beta challenges. Michael shares: china to adopt evd in 2008 – “China will phase out standard DVD format in favour of a homegrown alternative.” He even goes outside China to bring news from throughout the Pacific Rim. Link this news tidbit he found: piracy and property in the philippines – “a recent conference about media piracy and intellectual property in the Philippines.”

Michael’s range of posts can be both entertaining and educational. Thank goodness we’ve found someone doing the searching and sharing for us.

So, I highly recommend Michael’s blog. He has been posting regularly – most are brief and he’s generous with links. The Navigator will help us all follow the adoption of social media in Asia. Thanks, Michael.

If you want to see what other PR blogs are writing about China, try out Constantin‘s little Google Search of all PR blogs.  (See the left sidebar.)

Note: I wrote this yesterday and scheduled it to post today.  Well, it seems that if you embed the Google Search script in a blog post, it makes the theme go all goofy.  My apologies.  Look to your left and you’ll find the “Search All PR Blogs” widget.
