James Farmer finds yet another WordPress RSS aggregator. This one is a true plugin and seems much more powerful than the wp-rss-aggregate.php mentioned here earlier. It works with WordPress 1.5, too.

FeedWordPress is an Atom/RSS aggregator for WordPress. It syndicates content from newsfeeds that you select into your WordPress blog; if you syndicate several newsfeeds then you can WordPress’s posts database and templating engine as the back-end of an aggregation (”planet”) website. I originally developed it because I needed a more flexible replacement for Planet to use at Feminist Blogs.

Thanks to Charles at RadGeek. He responded about my lil’ problem getting the plugin to work and now it works fine. Note that you will have to have access to your PHP extensions and make sure cURL is enabled. Charles says that will be changed in upcoming releases.
So, I got the install of “FeedWordPress” plugin to work. It is here at Test Two – onemoretry.
Here is what I wrote in James Farmer’s blog about what the plugin does. This one is the ‘keeper’ WordPress Aggregator Blog app, IMO. Thanks to Charles for creating it and making it available to everyone. Very cool!
