Interesting new site, JustFree.com. They offer auto installs of WordPress blogs. I created one here: RobAubie and it only took a few minutes. You get a subdomain, but you may also redirect a domain you own to the site. So, it is essentially complete hosting.

Flickr is one of my favorite sites. Truly, they have a wonderful interface and hosting service for photos. It is my favorite of all the photo hosting sites – hands down. Yet, tonight the site went down for one of their maintenance “massages” and that’s cool. Hey, I knew it was coming and wasn’t the least bit miffed. I’m still not miffed. But, I think there is a lesson here.

While we’re considering nonprofit related blogs, I wanted to to share this recent find – an excellent example. Several students have mentioned working in the nonprofit sector, this semester. One just posted about it.
So, let’s explore how nonprofits have been using social media in their daily PR and marketing activities. From Oakland, California, we discover a great site. This one will be particularly interesting for those students thinking about a future in nonprofit work.
